2003 Ford 6.0 VXAP2n2

Having problems with the 100hp setting. Acts like the fuel is cutting in and out. Tried to down load the 100hp but when it starts to download to programmer it only loads 66 of total bits. Trucks runs fine on the 65 tow but I want the 100hp. Thanks for any help.

Redownload the one from the Sticky at the top of the forum.

2003 Ford 6.0 U7165 VXAP2n2 Cole tried to download the sticky and same thing again. When I start download it only loads 66 of the 3585 of the bits and the programmer says to turn the switch off and I am not even hooked to the truck. It just times out after about 13 retry's. Thanks for your help.

You are sending this file as a custom tune, not a crom file correct?

Tried to download again to the programmer and still the same thing. It starts to download and stops at 66 of the total bits and the screen says to turn the ignition switch off and the programmer is not even hooked to the truck. I am using the logo that says send tune file to predator. I reloaded thev.8r17 and it loaded just fine. Thanks for any help.

Happen to me too.
Need a laptop in the truck, using the truck to powerup the unit. Then it will work. You need to cycle the key as it says to.

Ok took the laptop and the programmer out to the truck and did what it said about turning the switch of and everything downloaded from the laptop to the programmer. Then put the custom tune on the truck now the truck will not start at all. Starter does not even engage. Tried to put factory tune b ack in the truck and the screen does not reconize the truck, can not even load the factory tune. Help need the truck to drive to work tomorrow.

Did you try to load one of the other tunes, tow econ ect....
Try them if you didnt already
Did you pull the original back up out the truck prior to installing the custom tune and save it to your laptop???
