Dataviewer for Linux

Post by ChaoticMachinery »

Hey all,

Is there any chance you guys at Diablosport would be willing to work with me to create a data logger for Linux?

I don't mind doing the coding and would be happy to release the code as GNU. But what I do need is help getting the predator in data logging mode and telling it what to log.

Thanks,
CM

The next generation may very well be based on Qt and thus cross-platform. That is just an idea on a whiteboard, though. There is way too much proprietary stuff in there to be able to do what you are asking.

Have you tried using Dataviewer under Wine? Being that Predators use serial connection, it might actually work.

Another option is to develop DV in .NET or JAVA, both of those are cross-platform as well.
