Just bought a U7194 for my '07 Yukon Denali and have ???
I received my U7194 and immediately updated to 9R11.crom. I plugged it in and backed up my stock and installed the Diablo tune. Runs good, drive ability is nicer.
So next I want to look at different options that I can change like rev limit, speed limit, shift firmness, etc. How do I do it?
When I plug in, I get these options:
PERFORMANCE TUNE
DIAGNOSTIC
OPTIONS
TOOL INFO
So I choose "performance tune" and agree.
Now it offers me:
DIABLO TUNE
87 OCTANE TUNE
MODIFY STOCK TUNE
ORIGINAL BACKUP
If I choose "diablo tune" it re installs what I already have.
I don't think I want the "87 octane tune"
What is "modify stock"?
I know I don't want to restore my original.
How do I make any changes to the Diablo Tune?

RE: Just bought a U7194 for my
After you select Diablo tune, it should give you a menu of "Modify Tune" or "Install Tune". Select "Modify Tune" and all the setting changes are there.

Right I should have continued that I tried that.steeleshark2 wrote:After you select Diablo tune, it should give you a menu of "Modify Tune" or "Install Tune". Select "Modify Tune" and all the setting changes are there.
I choose "modify tune" and agree. Then it offers:
MODIFY PARAMETERS
RESET ALL PARAMETERS
I choose "modify parameters" and it says "Parameters are not available for this vehicle/transmission combination(2)".
So then what?

so then you need to post up a copy of your original backup tune file so that the diablo boyz can add support for your vehicle to the next update...

Oh ok, I see I'm not the only one with the problem with the u7194. That is the exact message I get for my truck.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Just bought a U7194 for my
Glad to have an answer, but I feel a little misled. I don't recall reading anywhere that the product may not be full operational when I receive it. How often do these updates come out? Worrisome since there was an update last week?06MonteSS wrote:so then you need to post up a copy of your original backup tune file so that the diablo boyz can add support for your vehicle to the next update...
So how do I upload a copy of my original backup?
If I get the dealer to reflash my PCM, will that make it work? If so, any suggestions to how I go about asking for it under warranty? I don't really want say it's "to make my Predator work". What should I say the complaint is? How about the trans PCM, is that a separate flash, or is it all in one.

You might need to revert to r10. I will put it in this message. A few of us with the Camaros had the same problem with R11 and went back to R10 all was fixed. R11 just added some vehicle support but I think it has a bug in it on our programmer which they will have to get back to on Monday. Good luck and let me know how this works. Also RESTORE your original stock tune onto your vehicle BEFORE making this update.
