Is there a way to 'cut-n-paste' a portion of a log from the histogram on a Chart?

Scenario:
I'm datalogging 20-30 mins of driving that includes some WOT runs (0-60, 1/8th mile). I'd like to isolate those runs from the log. Is there a way to just capture that data?

I'm playing with 'Export to CSV' and using a spreadsheet to do this but it's not as intuitive as I thought. Just curious if this is a feature you would consider for next version of DV. Let me choose from TimeA to TimeB in the histogram, right-click >> create new log . . .
