2010 Camaro problems

Post by JosephSchaefer »

I installed trinity on my 2010 camaro. tried performance tune it caused several trouble codes including stabilitrac, cruise control, abs, brakes, and three unknown codes any help or ideas would be appreciated. I put it back to original tune. Very new to all this so I really need help. The trinity is loaded with the latest updates available on this site

those go off whenever the tune is downloading... once the tool completes the install all of that should return to normal. and don't push any buttons or open the doors while installing the tune or it will freeze up and you will have to start all over again! i learned that the hard way, LOL!

does your car have the latest software up date from GM as of mid November? there is a new ECU flash that upgrades the operating system of our cars' computer and i don't think DiabloSport has released a revision for that software. but if your able to post up your original backup and the diablo tune that is installed on the car, i'm sure tech support or 06MonteSS will be able to help you get the tunes working! note that you will have to download the tune to the car, then upload it on your computer!

Everything has been fine with my unit until yesterday. Out of no where I was driving on the highway and I got the same issue. All of the sudden the break, ABS, and Stabili track lights all went on. I had to pull over on the highway, load the stock tune and continue about my day. I reloaded the diablo tune on the car and there have been no issue this morning but I am sure it will happen again. Not sure if this helps but I was logging the drive, when I went to save the log the computer freaked out. Bug maybe?

out of curiosity, how do you have the obd cable routed from the obd port up to your dash to the trinity??

did you wedge/pinch it between any moldings/trim pieces?? or do you just have it loose??

I had all kinds of error messages/codes on my car once, when I had routed the obd cable in between trim/molding pieces and I had pinched the cable....

after I pulled it out of the channels where I had wedged it in, so that the cable wasn't pinched anymore, everything works fine...

Were you monitoring with the tool when this occured, or did the lights just stay on after installing the tune? early on, i had a problem where all my lights went off and i got a bunch of unknown trouble codes, the speedometer would flicker up and down. this only happend when i was monitoring with the tool, since then i have done logs and what not but never used the monitoring function with no problems.

Checked the cable there are no obstructions or kinks in the connector.

Monitoring has been working perfectly. I was in the middle of logging when this happened. I will test it later on this evening again and see what happens. The unit has been perfectly fine until last night’s log so I presume it may have been a connection issue.
