Diablo VS Bullydog

Post by metalsystem761 »

I have an 07 Silverado with the 5.3 and I have a Triple Dog programmer I've been looking at diablo for some time its the only one that catches my eye. I did all kinds of reviews with superchips and ext and found bully dog way better. But Diablo I'm looking at the trinity and was wondering if anyone know which is better trinity vs Bullydog GT?

I've never used BullyDog, but I've always heard they were a joke. Maybe somebody from DS can confirm.

I can tell you the bully dog is awesome but I wanted to compare to diablo I ues to think they were the idk kinda the not good programmer. I've always heard of superchips and hypertech back then. And I compared them to bullydog, its better and racing with same vechile superchip cortex vs bullydog bully wins. Hopefully DS will let me know :)

the Trinity is the way to go, for sure...

you can leave it or take it out of the car after you download the tune to the truck! but it does help you log things so i leave it in the car!

yes, even better than the BDGT... after you install the tune to the vehicle, you do not have to leave it in/connected to the vehicle...

but like hussler said, you can hook it up and data log things whenever you want... which you'll want to do in order to get your fueling tweaked optimally to get even better throttle response, acceleration, and better mileage...

also, you can get custom tunes created for even MORE giddy-up, all via email... then you just import the new custom tune file to the trinity and install it to your truck, and VOILA!!

plus, the trinity has the ability to store up to 5 custom tunes, in addition to the canned/preset tunes... plus it has the virtual drag tree that lets you check your 0-60, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile times, etc etc...

hands down better...

btw, I am one of the many diablosport CMR tuners available that can do custom tunes for you and your vehicle... i've done over 100 custom tunes for people, ranging from vettes, gtos, monte ss's, impala ss's, gxps, camaros -- to trail blazers, tahoes, avalanches, sierras, suburbans, silverados, escalades, etc etc etc... hell, even a Wrecker/Tow Truck! Try getting custom tunes and doing THAT with the other one! ;)

Info about my custom tunes can be found here http://www.eprowebdesigns.com/DiabLew_Tune/ and there's also a link on there to a small sampling of just some of the testimonials I've received from people that I've done my tunes for...

once you get your trinity... you install one of the diablo tunes...

then you hook up the trinity to your PC, and you use the diablosport DSDownloader application to connect to the Trinity with it, and you download copies of the original stock backup tune file and the "last tune written" tune file to you pc... then you contact a CMR custom tuner (such as myself), let them know what mods you have on your vehicle, if any - don't even need any and you'll STILL gain more goddy-up with my custom tunes! - pay whatever their charge is, email them those copies of your tune files you saved to your PC... plus whatever data log files they asked you for, and they'll create you a custom tune file, email it back to you... you use the DSDownloader application to import it into the Trinity... then you hook up the trinity to your vehicle and install the custom tune...

you use the diablosport DSDownloader program to import/export tune files to/from the trinity to your PC... and you use the DataViewer program to download the data log files from the trinity to your PC...

then you just email files back-n-forth....

simple...
