disabling o2 sensors for high flow cats

I'm going to be installing Magnaflow high flow cats,mated up to the stock exhaust. When I disable the rear 02 sensors with my predator,does this effect the computers ability to properly read/adjust it's mixture?? what are the negatives...if any..to shutting off your rear o2 sensors?

All fuel adjustment is done with the front O2s. The only thing the rear O2s are for is to monitor cat efficiency. The PCM compares the readings from the rear O2s with the readings from the front O2s and monitors the cats that way. If it throws a code it's passive and does not effect operation at all.

If the rear O2s are "shut off" the OBDII diagnostics will not go to "ready" state and you are unlikely to pass any sort of emissions/smog checks/certification.

Note: you are not completely shutting off the rear O2's. The PCM is still going to be monitoring the sensor control circuit. It's just the CEL generated by the readings that's suppressed. If you simply remove the sensor's completely you would get different CELs having to do with the circuit (I think). You'll need to either leave the sensors installed or strap them up under the car or something.

Great,thanks for the info. We don't have any emmisions stuff to pass here,so I should be good to go. If the $ is there,i'm going to go with the corsa mated up to the high flows,but if not,gonna have to mate it up to the stocker....which is still good.supposedly the biggest flow restriction is in the cats themselves.
