2010 5.7 Ram won't flash/interact with truck

I just got my trinity, popped the newest crom on it and tried it in my truck, it fails when trying to read from the ODB port giving an error PCM error -1 or something. It takes power but won't read or write, none of the loggin, racing, or gauges work either.


I am unsure if this is a faulty cable or faulty trinity or if something I am missing?

Just to add; the first time I tried it powered up, read to backup to 13% then failed, second attempt to 5% and then nothing. Won't read at all. Took the truck around the block, tried to just read any error codes, failed, tried again and it worked, tried once more and it won't read anything.

Tried to interact again, nadda.

Sounds like your cable is not making good contact with the Trinity.

Make sure it is clicked in on both sides.

It is clicked in. I actually got it to do a full flash last night (87) but then it would not interact again, cable was not disconnected after the successful flash, jsut refused to read codes or monitor anything. The cable, or machine was not moved, so why would it stop working in all other functions after it worked just fine?

That does seem very odd. So I guess it does not show live data or anything?

It did show live data once, and then not again. I tried to get it to show live data RIGHT after that flash, and it thought the car was off.

OK, I would suggest filling out an rma request and let us check this think out...

no thanks. I am within my 30 days, I'd rather just return it than be without and have you guys fiddle with it. Its obviously the connection between the trinity and the cord, as it works sometimes but not others. How about you guys do a cross ship with me? otherwise I guess you can just have it back, get an unhappy customer and deal with the broken trinity on your own time?

Return it to where you bought it then if an RMA is too much to ask. Why would they ship you a new unit before getting yours back? You clearly aren't willing to work with DS, so my guess is the only way this will get resolved is if you return the unit and buy something else.

Listen, customer service with these guys is complete crap. NO emails, no calls, nothing to fallow up with me and my issues, just general 'uhhh, have you plugged it in" BS. My dealer is willing to do a cross ship, which is great and I appreciate everything they did to make my business worth while.

I feel as though we have tried to assist you, and ZI have offered to cover any issues under warranty, what more can I do for you?
