What are you running for egt's in the different settings
I have a 2004 5.9L 4" straight piped a, but no gauges. Would i be safe running the highest tune without gauges? thanks

RE: What are you running for egt
i wouldnt run anything over performance without a egt gauge,i have the same 04 with straight pipe and i have tried every setting, the egts are lowest on tow and once u get into the extreme and rkl they really climb fast, crusing with an outside temp of 10c i see 550-650 on level ground with tow but over 750 with rkl,i have got her up to 1200 easily on rkl but i have my quad camnder set to defuel after 1200.i think the pred uses lots of duration which can be hot, without being able to see it i wouldnt go higher than performance, also depends on outside temos too

RE: What are you running for egt
even on the performance I can pin the needle without effort. after installing my guages I was shocked at how I had been treating my truck. I now am much more mindfull. But life without my predator in not on the books.

I wouldnt go past the tow tune without egt...On tow tune I have it 1325*, and everything above tow can hit 1600* pretty easy...like RRAM said i was shocked at how i was treating the truck also and I am alot more mindfull! Ur stock auto or stick wont like anything above tow tune any way.
