03 V6 Mustang Idle Problem

I have a 2003 Mustang V6 3.8L 5-speed with a Pypes Performance Complete Converter-Back Dual Exhaust, a C & L cold air intake and Hardcore 8mm 0-ohm wires set. I purchase the Predator U7146, v7r50d and installed the Predator Performance (Diablo) tune. After I installed the tune I noticed the when my car is cold and I come to a stop the Idle dips to a point of almost stalling then recovers. It will do this several times before it stabilizes. Once the car is warmed up while driving between shifts the RPM’s will hang around 1500 for about 10 seconds and then return to the correct Idle and sometimes it will dip then recover. I know on other predator models you can choose a tune for the C&L CAI and even adjust the MAF Curve. If I return everything to stock I am OK.

Do you have a tune that accounts for the C&L CAI for the U7146 so I can take advantage of the performance?

You may need a custom tune for this application, as some of the CAIs tend to throw the MAF curve off substantially.
Try clocking the MAF in 90° increments to see if that helps.

Clocking the MAF didn't help. You sell units that allow you to change the MAF curve and select a specific CAI, like my C&L.

What do they change in the tune?

Can you supply me with one of those tunes?

The u7146 does not have this option.
In order to alter the MAF curve in your application, you would need a custom tune from one of our CMR dealers.
Also, please check the cars IAC as they tend to fail often. Try unplugging it at idle and see what happens.
