U7193 tahoe 2004 settings

Need to figure out how to get my 2004 chevy tahoe tuned completely right. I see everyone talking about LTFT and injector slope and all but Im still new to this language. I had installed the 93 octane tune into my truck and it seems low at low range. I have magnaflow cat back with a flowmaster 70 series. TB spacer, KN CAI, new plugs, wires, filters, syntheic mobil oil, and Im planning to get under drive pulleys soon. Can u direct me to adjust my settings correctly please. Thanks

do you have a newer version predator that can save data logs? if it's on a 9rXX revision, then you can... when the predator boots up and is at the main menu, there's a number at the top of the screen... that's the revision number... what is it?

if it's an older 2.xx version, then you can not save data logs, but you can still monitor the parameters and watch them live on the screen while you drive...

here's info on what parameters to log/monitor and how to adjust your injector slope to get your average LTFT's (long term fuel trims) in the 0 to -2 range...

after getting that dialed in, you'll get better throttle response, better accleration, stronger pull, and better mileage...

ok I have got the cable. installed drivers and ready to analyze but I get an error message while trying to analyze. access to the path c:\Programs files(x86)fgbsoftware\dslogredux\raw_data210022268.csv is denied.

yeah, it's a permissions issue on your pc...

FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK. NOW I PREVIOUSLY HAD MY INJ SLOPE AT -1%. THE DSLOG SAYS TO ADJUST INJ SLOPE UP BY 2%, SET THE FOLLOWING ADJUSTMENT ON THE PREDATOR TOOL: +2%. DOES THIS MEAN I PUT IT ON 1% OR 2% CAUSE FROM THE -1% WHERE I HAVE IT, IF I ADD 2 IT WILL BE POSITIONED ON 1%.

correct... you would go +2 from wherever it's set at now... so if you're at -1 now, then you need to go up by two, so now you would set it at 1%...

Ok now im a lil worried. I did another test which is the second test and it said to go down 3% which now took me to -2%. I did another test and it said to go down 4%. Now im at -6% and I know I must be shooting aLOT more gas than I should be right? Could this be right or is something wrong?

are you putting on miles between the adjustments before you re-log??

are you doing the logs in similar weather conditions?? i.e. outside temps roughly the same when you're comparing logs... can't do one log in 30*, and one log in 50* - they will be different...

iM DOING IT ONE AFTER ANOTHER WITHIN ONE HOUR OF EACH OTHER. bOTH LOGS WERE DONE TODAY BETWEEN 3PM AND 5PM AT 70*. wHAT DO U MEAN BY PUTTING ON MILES BETWEEN ADJUSTMENTS

you need to put on about 50 miles after you flash a tune to the truck before you data log it...

the pcm takes a while to relearn the new fueling adjustments and to have the fuel trims get relearned and settled in...
