How do I run a log

I know I'll catch a lot of flak for this, but how do I run a log on my vehicle. All I know how to do is put in the Predator tune, and restore the original. I've read the posts that mention posting the log from there vehicle, and I was just wondering how to run a log. Also, what will I learn from doing it.

Plug the predator in to you car. Go to options. go to diagnostics. to real time data. It will have a bunch of things you can select to monitor. They call them pids.After you select the pids you want to monitor you will be told to start your car. Dont start the car until the predator tells you to.By the way this is the only time the predator will have you start you car. After you start the car the predator will ask you if you want to start monitoring now. If you do select yes. I had a very good set of instructions on how to use the predator that some one made up. I got a virus and lost it all. I will see if I can find it again. YOU CAN ALSO FIND THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE dsp WEB SIT. go TO SUPPORT then to down loads. Then you will be ask for info on your car. Enter that info. You will be directed to the download page. Go all the way to the bottom and you will see a download for the predator manual. Download the manual. as for your question on what you can learn You can find out how the car is running. It will tell you if you have any long or short term knock and at what rpm ect. Do a data log and post it up and some one will tell you what its saying about the way the car is running. Remember the only way to learn this stuff is to do it so go out and log
