How does CMR work?

Post by timmydhenry »

I have a 2010 Camaro SS, auto trans. I have a MBRP cat-back exhaust, and a K&N Cold Air Intake and I was wondering how the CMR works with the Predator. Is it as simple as uploading the CMR into the Predator and then plugging it into my car, or would a shop have to dyno my car?

It is software we use to create custom tunes, much like hptuners or efilive.

You can either have it tuned in person or via email, and the files created in cmr are loaded to the Predator as custom tunes.

I assume the tuning in person would be done on a dyno. How would the email tune be done? What could I expect the pricing to be to have it done?

pricing is set by each dealer.

email tunes are done for simple mods by sending datalogs to the tuner...
