from what i can see that updates used to take 1 day or so ... why do i have to wait for almost two weeks to get my vehicle supported?

Could you please tell us what vehicle?? You have another thread similar, I've posted there with the same question. Even though DS may have the information, it would be useful to other forum members and onlookers to know what vehicle you have.
