U7191 Packet 2 wont install

Hey
When trying to load the new update. it comes up with an error that packet2wont install and then the download fails. On the Predator it says cant not install the file stang 05. I am confused please help. My car is an 06 Monte LS4

Are you sure you are using the 8r08 revision from the U7191 downloads page?

Yes i tried downloading it on the Predator. I will click send crom file and it will start then stop and keep retrying on packet 2. I then unplug the data cable and i just hook the predator up to the car. It starts booting then it says there is no crom file on the stang_o5. Then it turns off and reboots and says same thing?!?! I dont know what im doing wrong, do i need a usb hook up instead maybe? I'm really excited to see what it does to my car. I had this thing for a couple weeks now and i just want to get it going. Thanks for any help!

stang_05 indicates to me that it's a Ford file/tune... you need to make sure you have the 8r08 crom file update from the U7191 download/update page:

it sounds like you did the update to the Predator correctly, but with the wrong file??

Figured it out today via email...he actually got a U7140 (stang 05) Predator instead of the U7191 by accident.
