06 F-250 9r11 100hp tune really weak

2005 6.0, 9r11, 2006 F250 Reg Cab 6.0 My truck after installing the tune will blow some smoke but it is really sluggish. It's bad to say but the throttle response is surprisingly stock and has stock acceleration at the bottom end with a lot of smoke. I just need some opinions. I just put the tuner on today and am not impressed with it so far but i'm sure we will figure something out with everyones help. Can anyone help me. I have read about an update does anyone know about that?

There are several threads started about this problem. Don is working on an update as soon as he can get a truck in there. Lots of people (including myself) are not happy with 9r11 mainly due to what Ford did to the Fuel Injection Control Module with their last flash. In addition to losing power most people also noticed a 3-5 MPG drop in fuel economy too. Thank the EPA/OBAMA cause this crap is all about emissions!! We had better stop the (non existant) global warming!!

Yea I live in mid Missouri and this global warming thing is ridiculous. It was sixty five yesterday and we hav three inches of snow today. Have you heard how long it is expected to be before there is a new update. Thanks for the info. If I lose fuel milage I am going to take the programmer off.

EPA/BUSH Crap was instituted in 2005 by the Republican congress and white house. That new law didnt phase the new regulations in until 2008 model years in order to the industry time to gear up for the change.

Global warming has to do with average long term temperature changes, not just daily weather reports. The sea level is rising and there are large amounts of glaciers melting in areas that are not normal. That is like trying to compare fuel mileage while only highway versus city. You need to look at your overall average over few tanks to get an accurate measurement.

Please do not assume that I am too stupid to properly calculate and compare fuel mileage. The earths temperatures fluctuate in cycles and there has been NO warming since 1995. So please go hug a whale or polar bear. Just save your BS for someone else.

Your right, I have no idea what I am talking about. I have no idea that a Republican President signed the Clean Air and Clean Water Act into law, created the EPA, and signed the endangered species act. I have no idea that this led to the worst automotive enthusiast decade ever known as the 1970's.

My ignorance is so steep that I didnt even know that Ford is reflashing the vehicles' FICM on their own. The vehicles in question dont even have the smog equipment on them. IMO, Ford flashed the vehicles to de-tune them to reduce the warranty claims and to control the fueling better. So far they have succeeded at that until Don works his magic to get around that.

You may not know this but most blue states didnt/dont even inspect diesel pickups as part of a smog program and that numerous midwestern and southern states have inspect them on an annual/bi-annual basis.

I was trying to point that politics does nothing to explain why you truck runs the way it does for the 6.0L Power Stroke and for this issue.

First off I was just being a smart ass, which was the sarcasm part by me And I know that you probably don't drive a civic, also sarcasm on my part. If you drove a civic why would you be reading on a diesel forum? As for the tree hugger thing just a metaphor as the one you used previously. As for Ford reflashing the ficm just for warranty and smog, everyone thinks that diesel engines are so terrible for the environment, the only reason that people believe this is because of people like me. I blow clouds of black smoke every time I get the chance as long as I am in town just to piss people off, what they don't realize is that the honda civic that they are driving is releasing three times as much carbon as the diesel that I am driving you just can't see it. I'm sure that being the intelligent person that you are you probably already know that soot from my diesel only stays in the atmosphere for around three months while the carbon molecules stay for around twenty years. Most people that drive diesels already know this though as for the DS crew hopefully Don can get this taken care of for all of us so I can have a real truck again!
