Finding the gauges

Post by Brian-RT/JK »

Hey,

I'm looking to add some gauges but having trouble finding them.
For example: the knock retard gauges.

Is there a flow chart or area where I can find this type of thing?

I have been looking however I am having no luck, I cant seem to find the Miscellaneous or misfire menus at all.

Thank you

What vehicle?
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!

"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.

How are you trying find these? You have to go into monitoring, then edit gauge layout. The supplied DiabloSport layouts should have them as well I would think.

I have looked on line many places as well as on this site and in all the user manuals

I have been able to move around in monitoring etc can add a page to the 07 up layout problem is I can seem to find the gauge to add at all.

I do not see any Knock Retard in any of the layouts

a Simple flow chart as to where all the gauges would be great

Thanks

What you have to do is go under logging and then create a new log. Then once in there you can make your own layouts and add the gauges you want and also add Gauge layout pages. So each time you have a page just hit edit and select the type of gauge that you want next it will give you a huge list from Cooling to performance and also to Throttle and in there you selct the PID thatyou want like Retard knock. Once the layout is made you can go to monitor the layout with out actually recording it. I have not seen under the monitoring menu where to add PIDS in there. The only place I seen that is thru the Logging Menu icon. Hope this helps you out bro.

Ahh, Finally I hope it works I will check it out soon. I was only adding a new page attached to one of the supplied layouts.

Seems similar but I'm guessing my version does not have access to all the gauges only a few

Thanks a mil Knuckles and Gizmodo

I think you should go in the Trinity and make sure that you have the correct vehicle, so that it can enable you to see all the PIDS that correspond to your car. if you have the correct vehicle and the latest crom file, then I suggest you contact Diablo tech support man. Is your Trinity not turning off when you shut your car down as to why its discharging the battery on your car?

Update: Once you make your Gauge layout thru the Logging icon, it will now be available for you thru the Monitoring Icon as well. So for example I called mine Knuckles_DCX and not it shows up in my Monitoring icon as well.
