Trinity does not power on in vehicles

Just got my trinity yesterday, went out to fire it up in my 05 gto.... no luck. I then pluged it into the computer turned on just fine. I thought well maybe updating wil help.... nope, tried it in gto again, a pontiac torrent, and a ford taurus.... still nothin

Had checked fuses before n forgot to mention it, but i decided to humor the last post. Went out and tried again... different results... it started smoking! right where the cord meets the device brown smoke started coming out. Removed trinity and looked at device, two pins are sticking up and some plastic is melted...... warranty?
