getting hardware not compatable issue with new crom update

got a 2007 tahoe and using the u7194 and trying to install the latest crom the r14 I guess and after I loaded it up it is saying hardware not compatible that the serial number isnt right i think is the message. The last one I had in it was a r7 and remember trying to do the r8 update it also wouldnt let me for some reason. So besides needing this fix what am I missing out on with the new updates anything very interesting? See no tcm still which sucks the fact I have way more power than my 03 tahoe this one still wont turn a tire and my 03 with all torque management turned of would blast them from a dead stop with less bolt ons so guess the transmission torque management is killing that. Anyone else having issues with the update? please help I do like to try to keep this updated while I wait on tunercat to come out with the def files then I will program the truck myself and sell the programmer like I did with my 03 way back but tunercat is also having issues getting tcm support and why they havent put out the def file over there so dont feel bad guys.

tunes were re-done in revision 9r08...

and any revision after that, there's nothing for you/your truck anyway - the newer revisions were just to add support for new/additional vehicles...

ok that does nothing for my question i have crom 07 what update if any am i missing to the new updates. cor 9r08 has stuff for my tahoe? I got this new when i got the truck bran new so only 3 years old and I cant update it? that is a pretty screwed up I still paid the same 355 from summit and should have any benefits that buying one right now would get. one reason i got it was my 03 tahoe had great support and never had a single problem up dating that one and when i sold it to get this got almost every penny back on it because of that reason. I dont understand why these programs wouldnt be wrote so all programmers continue to work unless it is just them wanting more money and that case I will go buy someone elses brand programmer as it seems the sct has more it can do for my particular vehicle than this one has now and in the past no one could do what these did. Just frustrating

sure it does... it totally answers your question man...

9r08 has newer updated tunes in it for your truck...

but any revision update after that - 9r09, 9r10, 9r14, etc etc - has nothing for you and your truck... those revisions were only to add support for new additional vehicles... there is nothing in them for you, so you don't need them anyway.

just as I stated in my original post above...

and, if it's on 9r07 now, then it will be able to update to 9r08 without issue... dunno what you did before that you said it wouldn't let you update to 9r08.... you have to make sure you restore original backup to your truck before you do any revision updates to the tool....

I went to the link and it didnt say what was different from 07 to 08 crom I tried the link and it said enter password. So if not too much can u just explain what it will do for the truck
