2006 SRT8 300. Loss of power with programer!! PLEASE HELP!!

Post by awalracing »

I Seem to have lost power since i put the diablo sport predator tuner in my 2006 chysler SRT 8 300. I put it on 93 oct. with CAI. And it seems like i have lost power. i had several races agains my fathers 2010 dodge challenger SRT8. before the tuner. and i could stick right with him. untill 100mph. and then i would start to pull away on him. after installing the tuner. we raced several times agian. i could stick with him untill about 100mph. then he would leave my behind. BAD!............. ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!

As I mentioned, Iwould suggest you do some logging here to see if there is any KR happening with the tune.

Most do not use the 93 tune because we can not find good gas. I have better luck with the 91 CAI

Its knocking, that needs to be tuned out.

Also, those times are ridiculously slow, like slower then a 5.7. Stock 0-60 is about 4.9 and the 1/4 is 13.2@108, so you aren't doing something right. Could be those stupidly heavy 22's. Rotating mass is a killer.

I also wondered why his stockish 300C can pull a NEW SRT8 Chally...?

Something does not really add up...

Loss of power.
I went to the track last night Mo-Kan Dragway Mo. running 104 oct sunnco and 93oct canned tune, 09 RT 5.7 chally auto, 4000 stall CAI, Catch can, super 44s, Nitto drag radials. Motor basically stock, Ran 13.80 removed 93 tune tune installed factory tune ran 13.30 at 109mph,,major traction problems, need wider drag tires. Made adjustments to factory tune got some traction, only spun through first and into second this time and ran 12.70 you tell me.
