best shift points on 05 gt?

wondering if anyone can help me figure out the best shift points on the 05 gt with airraid CIA tune running 93 octane with aggresive shift ..redline on 05 is 6000 but r u losing power reving it that high?

The stock shift points tend to work really well until you improve the top end breathing.

have a 05 gt also and would like to know if you can get the agresive shifting with out the 93 octane i have the air raid-tune running 91 octane

I did dyno test on my 05GT-manual this spring and the bhp peak was around 5300-5400 so for me the best shift point is 5500-5600.

Mine has AFE CAI, Ford Racing short headers, whole cat-back system with flowmaster true X-pipe and flowmaster rear silencers. But is with messed up software and added see through 4 silencers on the x-prpe which I think bothers it...

Generally the idea is that you have to go to dyno and see the curves for yourself.

But have in mind that the gearbox is working as kind of dyno itself... is shifts whenever it sees the torque of the engine getting down... and generally when it sees that the rate of acceleration is decreasing it shifts...

But you can go to dyno and find out for yourself the best shift points having in mind the RPM drop on the next gear...

Here we pay about 40-50 dollars for RWD dyno test...
