Invalid license (2)....

Post by eldelcable »

I had a problem with the ECU of my 2006 4.0 mustang. The gas sensor receives no signal. The problem is now resolved, and that they have got the electric power directly to it received the signal, for not change the mustang ECU.
After solving the problem, appears that the mechanic reset the ECU and I tried to put the tune of diablosport, and said: INVALID LICENSE (2), TUNE IN THE VEHICLE DOES NOT MATCH THE LAST TUNE written.

Please I need urgent help. I'm from Barcelona Spain Europe, and I tried to contact by phone and I could not do it.
Excuse my English.

They flashed the ECU while you still had a tune on it. Now its got a different Cal and the tuner thinks its a different car. You're gonna have to Fax in proof that the ECU was flashed (dealer service invoice), and call Tech Support to reset the tuner.

And next time, put back the stock tune before you go to the dealer.

I understand, but I think I put the stock tune before.
So I have to send a fax to the garage proofl, but where? That fax number?
Once submitted, as will make the service technician to restore the diablosport? They will give instructions by email, to reset the daiblo? It's difficult to me call to the tecnical service for my poor english for that I prefer via email.
I am very concerned about this issue.

Thank you.

nobody can "reset" or "unlock" the predator except for diablosport... your service tech can't do anything with it...

you did not restore the original backup to the vehicle before you brought it in to be fixed... so, now that the dealer reflashed the pcm, the tune in it now is not the same as the last one that the predator wrote to the car....

only way to fix this issue is you have to call diablo tech support...

Yes, I mean diablosport technical service. But do not answer the phone. Are there any fax number to send the proof, the explain and the other documents?
Thank you again. I hope it is resolved and not have to buy another diablosport

it's the weekend... diablo office is closed...

they're open Monday through Friday, 9am - 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time...

Call them during that timeframe and explain the situation, and they will let you know what you need to do next.
