Preditor cannot find original tune

Post by HemiJunky »

You must have a tune installed for it to save a backup to the unit...

yeah.. why did you restore the original backup to the car??

you have to install the diablo tune to the car... so that the predator saves the original backup in it...

and THEN you export the original backup and last tune written tune files from the predator to your pc...

when you restored the original backup to the car, you took the original backup out of the predator...

I installed the 93 tune and change it back to the original because I an having a cold air intake installed this week and was going to change to the 93/CAI tune. I changed it back to factory and was going to send out to get custom tune. Should I set it to 93 tune and then try to send it out?

If you are installing the CAI then I would wait and install the tune at the same time, then let it settle in and then you will be able to send your original backup and the last tune written with any noticeable concerns that may arise from the changes.

For now maybe do a stock data log to see where everything sits and another when the mods are settled in... incase a comparison is wanted/required.
