'03 6.0 + Predator = Bad MPG

I just bought a Predator last Wednesday. Installed the 65HP Thursday and drove with a heavy foot for a couple of days.

Filled the truck up Saturday and have been driving under "normal" driving conditions since and have dropped from 15mpg to just under 10mpg. This was figured the old fashion way, by filling up and doing the hard math on paper, not by the overhead readout. This was last night.

It said the 65hp was best for economy, what should I do?

It has a turbo back exhaust now, with a AFE cold air on the way.

Running on 315/75R16 tires also...........

I would say to check out the fuel system (filter, injectors) as these tunes have been shown to improve mileage by 2-3 mpg on most trucks.
My roommate went from average of 13.5 mpg to 16.2 with the 65 hp tune in his 06 F250 4X4 Crew Cab.

Filters were changed 2500 miles ago. Injectors were cleaned and checked 500 miles ago.

my customers have the best luck on the 100hp settings for the most mileage gain!

Thats sounds great, but what do I need to keep from doing any damage to my truck?

I just set it on the 100hp setting and I get alot less smoke and less take off power. The 60HP smokes like it's on fire...........is this right? Is there a chance that my tuner is messed up?

ya i notice that 65 horse tune on my 03 f250 crewcab deisel gets bunged up i have to matt it once in awhile it smokes to for a min like i cleanning out the carbon .not sure what year is 65 horse tune is iam running <is there only one 65 horse tune or is there an updated version figure mines 2 years old
