07 Avalanche 5.3 LT 4X4-slow launch

I am currently running the diablo tune on my 07 Avalanche and I do notice a slight improvement in power & shift points, but my vehicle is still very slow from a launch. The Predator is a U7194 and the revision is V.8r05.
Is this Predator updateable?
Are there any updated that allow me to modify the torque management?
Would I notice a difference with an updated tune?

dont count on it. im saving up to get efilive. atleast yours improved my truck has no improvement over stock. worthless

Weeel now that is a bit harsh! I wouldn't say worthless...do you have a diablew tune? If you don't,better get one and maybe it'll change your mind! Efi live is very expensive...and you need a laptop or pay extra for their tuner. They access a lot,but if you don't know what you're doing you can/will grenade motor and/or tranny! I like ds approach of plenty to play with,but the hard stuff is done by people who know what they're doing!

you can update that predator to revision 9r08... has better tunes in it... check out the ftp site here for that revision file:

then as Morgoth suggested, for even more giddy-up - get a custom tune, and it will change your mind...

I also have an 07 Avy 4x4 and noticed a slight improvement w/ the Predator tune. With the Diablew tune I've had a much better experience. I have no interest in going crazy with EFi live at the moment unless I go the supercharger route so the Predator with Diablew tune was the best way. I'm happy so far.

no whats harsh is saving up for nearly a year an buying this programer thinkin that it has trans support. cause thats what the description claims. .now im supposed to spend more money to make this work. everyone says custom tune so now i gotta buy the cables to plug into a computer oh plus now i need a computer plus internet. sorry for expecting a $300 product to work right out of the box. y download 9r08 when i have 9r13.

Well I'm sorry you're disappointed there friend! See if lew will cut you a good deal on a custom tune...cables are cheap...I think the kit is 40 bucks...and I'd just take it to the library lol..or a family pc

and, the description for the 7194 predator does not mention tcm/tranny support anywhere on its info page as far as what you can adjust with it...
