Hello, I have come across a vehicle with alot of mods with a predator tune. The car is a 2006 300c SRT8 with a procharger. The tune was done by procharger after sending them a copy of the orginal. The problem im having is getting rid of the P0420 and P0430 cat efficency low bank 1 & 2 the car has a new exhuast system with long tube headers and a header back system with high flow cats, and magnaflow muffler. I tried to go into the tune saved under VIN # and disable rear 02 sensors but now im unable to get the oxygen sensor monitor to set. is there a way anyone can help.

The monitor will not set with the sensors off. You need to use spark plug non-foulers to move the sensors out of the exhaust stream and leave them on..

so catalyst and oxygen sensor montiros won't set with them disabled.
ok i did try the spark plug anti foulers maybe they were not long enough i used part number 42009 from autozones help section. do you have a part number?

i graphed both downstream oxygen sensors with the anti foulers installed and they still switch almost as much as the fronts and ck engine light came back on after 20 mile test drive.

Did you put steel wool inside? I'm using 2 for each rear O2 with steel wool between them.

no i didn't put steel wool between them. i did double them up and got it to work. thanks will try seel wool just to make sure it last while at high rpm

Be careful. My truck just ended up blowing alot of the steel wool out. I was only able to use the non-foulers for inspection and had to remove them and turn the rear sensors off for normal use.

post your last tune written if you need a tune that wont throw codes, but wont pass emissions...

funny thing is last night i removed the one from bank 1 and doubled up bank 2 reinstalled both rear 02s and bank 2 looked good. i put 2 non foulers on bank 1 today didn't graph it just went to do the drive cycle all monitors set with in 15 miles except oxygen sensor. i graphed both downstreams and bank 1 was fluctuating alot compared to bank 2 i quickly got in inspected and then disabled rear 02s untill next year.
