Incompatible hardware (no serial flash found) error

I am now sure that I have the same problem as the original post. Just walked back through the whole process of updating after adjusting device manager to the right baud rate. Low and behold the programmer now read " no serial flash found contact tech support". What do I do now?

It looks like I am having this same problem.

I just purchased a used 2009 300C. I'm trying to update it with my Predator that was previously used on a 2006 Magnum (but it has been unmarried from that car).

The 2009 300C has Calid 05187901AE.

The Predator with 9r12 says that is an unsupported Calid.
Flashing the Predator to 9r27 gives a "no serial flash found" error.

Help, what do I do now?

You guys can e-mail me and i will send you a special crom that will support 09-10 calibrations only for predator.

I'm trying to load the u7135-9r23.crom file to my Predator and receive an error stating "Incompatible hardware (no serial flash found) Contact tech support"
Plese help. I will be buying a 2010 charger SRT

Thanks for sending the crom file. I must still be doing something wrong because I can't figure out how to apply the tune.

To review:
The Predator with 9r12 says unsupported Calid.

You sent me 9r27l. That crom installs on the Predator, but when I go to install the tune I get:

"This vehicle needs an update.  Download here: diablosport.com/dcx  Calid: 05187901AE."

I thought I could fix that with Calibration Update in DSDownloader, but when I try to update the calibration I get:

Code: Select all

"u7135 at 9r27l is not supported by calibration update server."

Not sure what to do now?

Thanks Johan, I'm good to go now.

To review, I needed the 9r27l (limited) CROM and the 05187901AH calibration file. Due to a combination of problems DSDownloader wouldn't automatically download that calibration. When I manually downloaded it and put it in place all was well.
