2010 Silverado 6.2 L

Post by fully81 »

I just bought a Trinity programmer for my 2010 silverado 1500 with the 6.2L and I installed the diablo tune and took it down the road a quarter mile and the service stabilitrak came on and the speedometer was fluctuating periodically for 0 to 60 no matter what speed I was going and the shifting seemed extremely hard and you could here to rearend slam. Did I do something wrong or is just a problem that anyone else is encountering?

I restored the backup and reinstalled the diablo tune and now it works fine. But I noticed if i keep the trinity plugged in the it will do it once in awhile but when it does it i push the connection wire into the trinity and hold it for awhile and then it stops so i dont know if something is wrong with the cable that it isnt holding or what. And when it was writing the computer i had to hold the cable into the trinity otherwise it would say it couldnt read the pcm.

Make sure the cable connects and clips in all the way on both sides of the Trinity.

Can I use the program for the GMC Sierra 6.2L instead of the Silverado 6.0L?
And are they coming out with some tune for the 6 speed tranny?
