Hey guys,

Will I have to re-tune after adding a cold air intake. Thinking about either S&B, or Banks.

Any experience with either or both?

No need for retune. I did an AFE on a friends 6.0, it was nice, and cheap

You know, I have been playing around with the standard tunes, and have not found anything that actually blows my skirt up yet. Do you have to give it time to set in, get acclaimated with the ECU? Like I mentioned, primarilly looking for economy without having to do the DPF bypass, and it is not making much difference in fuel milage.

I am hoping that adding a CAI will help with that.

Have you tried the higher power tunes yet?

I have not. All I have done is the 50 and 80 HP's. I have not done the extreme tune, nor the tow tune. I am hoping that the intake will give me a little boost, will have to see what Santa brings.

one other thing I wanted to ask you Mike, are there custom tunes available through you that might be better suited for my truck? If I somehow sent you diagnostic info captured from my truck, uploaded to PC, then sent to you. Is that doable?
