2006 GP GXP - Issues.

Using the trinity.
Did all my updates and installs.

Went and plugged it into the Car.
Tried all 4 non factory tunes.

Car wont idle smoothly.
Meters say that LTFT on bank 2 is -100%..

yep.. that's because there is no bank 2 on our LS4 cars.. haha... (I have a 2006 Monte Carlo SS with the 5.3 LS4 as well)

we only have bank 1... we have single exhaust... one pipe, one O2 sensor before the cat. converter, and one O2 sensor after the cat. converter...

we only have Bank 1... so if your data logging, LTFT/STFT bank 2 will always be at -100... because we don't have a bank 2...

which tune did you install?? and yes, the idle will be "off" compared to normal for a day or two, until the learned items like idle, fuel trims, etc etc all get relearned by the ecm... but it will settle in...

nothihng to worry about....

So revving between 900 and 400 rpm is normal / Okay?

yes drive you tune for 50-100 miles then go here:

and get your trims adjusted and datalogs, then go from there....

if you dont quite know something ,just ask or get a diablew tune for max giddy-up +

if that idle doesn't settle into place after a few days, let me know.... it MAY be an issue with the tunes... but I know how to fix it with a quick custom tune whipped up.

Yeah idle still wont settle in.
Keeps playing with the throttle for whatever reason.

use the latest version of the DSDownloader program and get copies of your original backup stock tune file, and a copy of the "last tune written" tune file copied to your pc, and then post 'em both up here... I'll fix that for ya...



follow the instruction in SECTION 2 on how to get the copies of the tune files saved outta the trinity using the dsdownloader...

yes, it will idle fine on the stock tune... I know what the issue is... what johan changed in the tunes... told him to change 'em back, but he missed some...

it's the spark retard during torque loss table... needs to be set to all 0's... he's got it set to +15... stock is -15... it did the same thing on my car...

When cold it idles up and it idles smooth (900ish)

Its wierd sometimes it will do it sometimes it wont.
