RE: ETA
Well got tired of the truck up/dn shifting when going around 45mph through a long detour.(have to drive through this everyday) I had to go back to stock to make adjustment's.Decieded to change an adjustment after loading the canned tune.Tried to reload the tune with a new setting and had no tcm option's.WTF (custom tune not loaded yet) Left the adjustment alone and it still took an hour to do this.If the adjustment's i made are not to my likeing i have to go all through this again? Which mean's the tool is reset and have to put all my setting's in again.(PCM & TCM) This is really disheartning and time consuming.Guy's i need a fix for this please.

RE: ETA
Mike has the issue of not having any TCM option's after loading a tune or when loading a custom tune been addressed in the new crom?

what was the latest Crom you used that had TCM control?TooCoolHemi wrote:Mike i have been complaining of this since i updated to 9r09.(not long after it's release) I'm an 05 and have read where other 05's have complained about the same problem. Are you saying it was not addressed in the new crom?
would you like to have your shift schedule written into a custom TCM tune? then all you have to do is load the TCM tune and your are done. no more setting the shift points one by one.
I have an '05 Ram too, with custom TCM tune written by me.

RE: Re: RE: ETA
Let's recall the course of event's.
1. 9r08 is released.I update from 9r03 to 9r08.Load tune in truck,go to load custom tune...no tcm option's.Try several more time's and once in 5 try's the option show's up but can't get it to repeat the option showing up.
2.Call tech support several time's.Call again with the tool powered up in the truck.Go through all the step's with Vas and he's say's it is definetly the tool.
3.Vas talk's to Mike L and he write's me a tranny tune and send's it to me.Truck dosen't like it.He send's another with the same result's.They will check into it.
4.9r09 is released.Update tool.Same result's as before.
5.Post up about the problem.Mike say's i told them to have the tcm option's show up when loading a custom tune.He say's he'll get on it and tell them about the problem.Never heard anything more on this.
6.Post about the problem in several thread's on here complaining how long it take's to go back to stock and reload all adjustment's just to have to do it again.Mike take's note.
7.Get tired of waiting and start this thread to find out when new crom might be released and to remind them about the problem.Result's-No Response.
8.Read another thread on this forum about other 05's having same problem with no tcm option's.
9.9r10 is released.Reactivate this thread to see if they remembered and addressed the problem in the new crom.
10.Mike's response is that was already taken care of in 9r09.Yet i still have no tcm option's after the base tune is loaded. They will not show up at all still.
What date was this thread started? When was 9r08 released and what's today's date?(this is how long i have been waiting for a fix)Any comment's Mike?

RE: Re: RE: ETA
I thought you were not seeing the TCM tunes after selecting a custom tune.
If youre saying it is the TCM adjustable parameters not showing up, all I need is your calid to check that out.

Again, once the canned tune is loaded the tcm option's never show up again. If you try to reload the canned tune or go ahead and load the custom tune there is no tcm option's either way.

RE: Re: RE: ETA
interesting. your PCM cal# is same as mine, and I have tcm adjustments in"modify tune". weird. seems like there are gremlins in some PCMs.
do you have the same TCM cal# too? mine is 05094258AD
the copy of 9r08 I have is dated 7/9/2010.
