u7135, 9r28, 2007 Daytona Charger.
LMI Frankentake IV, Flowmaster super 40's on stock pipes, Canned 91 CAI perf. tune, BT catch can.
I am planning on having my cats taken off this weekend. So i'm pretty sure I will need my o2's turned off. I also would like an MDS smoother (very rough). I also will be installing my jet 180 thermostat. My question is what course of action do I need to take to get these changes made to my tune. Also what would you recommend I set my fans to after installing the thermo.
My car seems to fall on its face at about 2500 rpm with or with out esp on I even tried the key trick (Tires hook quickly and its almost like a dead spot) Is this common?

Read what I've said to other guys about removing your cats. You're gonna lose power (I lost 30hp and 40+ft/lbs on a 6.1 when my cat hollowed itself out, dyno proven). The Hemi needs that backpressure. Without it, theres no air velocity and no torque. If you're complaining about it hooking up now, just wait until you can't break them loose at all.

Sooooooo whats a guy got to do to get an MDS smoother?? I am aware there is a low end sacrifice. But how does adding back pressure increase air velocity?? I didn't realize the losses would be that big. Guess I'll be looking into high flow cats.

Adding backpressure increases velocity because the flow is squeezed into a smaller area.
