i have on 07 silverado, the 7192 predator. so your saying i can start my truck then plug up the predator, click diagnostics, then real time data and log it? i thought if you plug it up while the truck is running itll fry everything.

no, haha... if you try to TUNE it while it's running, that wouldn't be good...

but for logging, the truck can be running already when you connect the predator, no issues...

ok, just making sure before i go off and do it and ruin my truck. let me make sure i got all the steps right. have the truck running, plug it in, click diagnostics, then real time data, then select which ones to log and run around for a few minutes? its just wierd that when you click diagnostics it says turn the key over but dont start it. but if you say it wont hurt, thats fine. just tell me if i have the instructions right. thanks

also on the instruction manual it says for my truck to remove 3 fuses before plugging in the predator, do i still need to do that as well?

start the truck up...

let it run for a few seconds...

connect the predator...

get all your logging selected and setup, ready to go, but do NOT start recording the log yet...

you need to make sure the truck is up to normal operating temps before logging any data - always!...

so if the truck's cold, drive around for 15 minutes or so, until it gets up to normal operating temps...

then go on the highway to do a steady driving/cruising data log, and start to record the data log...

ok so i did a few logs and got this. i have a few mods for more truck along with the diablo so i new it was runnin a lil lean well i alrady had the injector slope -9 after 2 more logs i dropped it to -12. so now my ltft are roughly between -2.34 and 0. every now and then ill get -4.39 or 3.21. is that still ok? it was taking in 60f air and its 30f outside and its usually over the 90s after march til november. im just makin sure the slope is good where it is or if i need to change it.

Hello,

I have an 04 A4 GTO and programming with a U7193. I have the DiabloTune installed.
I've made the following modifications to my car:
K&N FIPK
Magnaflow catback

I made two different logs and processed them with DSLogRedux. My injector slope is now set to -8%. I was going to set the PE to -4 because that's half of the injector slope, but I could not find that setting on my U7193. I see a WOT Fuel, WOT Shift pressure, and WOT Spark setting, but no PE setting. Do I need to make a WOT run? Where is the PE setting in the U7193 interface? I also noticed that the Torque management is still set to On even with the DiabloTune 93 tune installed. Is this correct? I want to eliminate the torque management as much as possible with my A4.

I like tuning. I'm thinking about a Diablew tune in the near future. :)

WOT Fuel is the PE (power enrichment) you're lookin' for...

you can disable that torque management setting too if you want...

and cool man, thx! I can hook ya up!! ;)

That's what I thought. When I looked at that setting, it's not a percentage. I'll have to check it again. I thought the Diablo Tune was supposed to disable the torque management? Thanks!

I turned off the torque management. These are the options under WOT Fuel:

*WOT Fuel 1k-3.8k
WOT Fuel 4k-4.8k
WOT Fuel 5k-7k

The first is currently selected in my tune.

well, it's highlighted because its the first one in the list...

so yeah, you'd go into each one of those ranges and make the adjustment to each one...

2003 C5

Post by mawler »

I followed the instructions and got a recommended adjustment of -16%. My car is a 2003 C5 with a K&N CAI and Corsa extreme exhaust. I am running the performance tune. I would expect to run lean after adding the intake and exhaust but wanted to do a sanity check before making such a big adjustment. Does this look "right"?

Update: I set it to -12% and relogged and it brought the values down by 12% so it worked. I could definitly feel the difference. It seemed to be bogged down a little before compared to no tune and now it is coming to life.

I own an 04 GTO I have a K&N CAI and will soon be getting Lt headers. Will i need to adjust anything on my predator after the headers are installed?
