See, we're going down a different road now....you have tuning issues related to vehicle modifications, and no amount of adding to the templates is going to fix it, it just needs some serious tuning time.

Im not blowing anyone off, and you should not read into my post as saying we dont have time, Im just getting tired of White Lightning coming in here and declaring things when he has no clue what he is talking about.

And, FWIW, he is not a fully licensed CMR dealer. They buy software at full price, he managed to get a copy of a license from a CMR tuner who paid full price, but White Lightning is not a dealer for DiabloSport.

Got to love these guys who thinks this is soo simple, why do think there are no other tuning solutions out there for these old products??? Riddle me that.
I can not for the life of me count the number of cammed hemi's i have tuned to satisfaction.

Guy's were all in this together.Like my dad use to say one hand washes the other. If there's something i could do to help just ask.Johan i'm not saying anything about it's easy. The exhaust transport delay pid my tuner requested and i relaid the message was something for the good of all of us with bigger cam's.(not just for myself)I have since been told that the 07's have this in cmr.Don't know how true this is but would assume if it's in the 07's codeing it's in the 05's also.I know that you guy's are really busy most of the time and i would'nt even have bothered you guy's if i did'nt feel like it was something important to all.Wheather you guy's realize it or not a lot of the guy's go to truck forum's to learn. The guy's with the faster truck's with bigger cam's are the one's that they listen to and look up too. They look to see what the are running to model there truck's after. Most of the time if they are asked if they should go with SC or DSP the response is SC for a mildly modded truck,DSP if your going to put a cam in.My response is DSP either way but when they find out about tuning issue's what do you think they deciede to do then. This hurt's bussiness for the guy's who sell the part's,the cmr dealer's and one less DSP is sold.Wheather you guy's realize it or not the cmr tuning is dictating wheather or not they go DSP or SC if they plan on going further than CIA and exhaust. If they think there going to have problem's with tuning why even bother.I know you guy's have a lot on your plate with all the vehicle's you support. But cmr deserve's it fair share of attention.Since i brought the surge issue to light there's seem's to be a lot less truck's getting cammed.(this was not my intention,it was just the opposite) Please consider what i'm saying because we need your help for all of us involved.Myself i just want a surge free truck and a tool that work's like it should.I just spent over a week with no way to go because of a tool malfunction that should'nt of happened.I've complained about my problem for month's with no result's.The 4th crom since i first reported it is about to be released and still no result's.Now i either spend to much time go back to stock or go without the adjustment's or try to force it to see my tcm and risk being without a way to go.I know i can't be the only 05 with this problem of no tcm option's after the canned tune is loaded.(if it's seeing a tcm calid on the canned tune load but not after it's not the truck)I need help to insure that i'm not going to be stranded without a truck or risk damaging my Pcm/tcm.(after countless report's of my problem with no result's how else could i describe it.)Once again please look in to it.(you have my old tool and so you know the new one does the same thing)As far as the surge i have goes Johan i have no doubt of your ability to tune.(you had most of it gone)Since you tune cammed hemi's you do tuning in your spare time? How much? (if your intrested please PM me.)

Mike don't be to hard on White Lightning he is just trying to learn and help improve cmr's ability's.

Just did a 140 mile round trip run with the new test crom. MDS engagement/disengagement is still quite noticeable on my 08 Grand Cherokee. I have a 3 inch lift and 31.5 inch tires, so not sure if that would make any difference in feel. However, with MDS turned off the 87 Performance tune feels like pure perfection! This is how I prefer to run the vehicle around town anyhow due to responsiveness. I would like to have the ability to have a smooth MDS function for long road trips. Fingers crossed you get a chance to troubleshoot the tire size recalibration for our vehicles before next release. :D

if your speedo is off, it may contribute to the MDS engaging harshly...post up last tune written and we'll check it out.

hey mikel sorry for the delay. I put the truck in 4wd and turned on the locker with the tuner(not the dash switch). The locker lights on the dash don't light and more importantly you can tell by driving that the locker is off. The only thing I changed in the program was the throttle boost to 15%. But I also tried it without no changes. Also everytime i went into the locker menu then back out even if I didn't change anything then try and write the selected tune (tried it with the 87perf and the mpg) i got the failed to write and everything went back to stock. The mpg booster and the 87perf write fine so long as i don't mess with the locker feature. The calid is 68043445. As a side note I have returned to stock because of P440 code that I keep getting with all the tunes even the mpg. Trying to see if I get it with thew stock tune but its a problem I have had since the last revision. Also is there a way to be able to use the locker feature in any mode without the tune connected?

The locker worked on everything we tested it on....it should work regardless of a tune being installed or not.

What is P0440?

i also have this same write problem with the u7137-9t12a.crom. I have a 08 ram hemi with just exhaust mods. The predator will write just fine with all tunes but as soon as I change any settings and try to write to it it give s me that failure to write and sets everything back to stock. right now i have it with the 87 tune and im very happy with the shifting , the MDS smoothness and especially the gas mileage (from 14.1mpg at 75mph to 16.9mpg at 75mph) over hilly terrain. I would just like to be able to change throttle boost settings. Is it because this is a test crom?

Will the 9t12b crom file fix my '06 overdrive kicking in just under 40 mph and making the transmission shudder cause of too low rpm problem? If not, can i get a custom tune to correct the issue? Can it be incorporated in the next fix? I am using the 93 Perf Tune w/ Perf Shift Trans.

Also, Will The Shudder Burn Out The Transmission?

the p0440 code is incorrect purge flow in the emissions system. I will try the new test crom. Still trying to get the stock tune to throw this code too. So far no luck.
