I have the same problem with it going in to overdrive and locking the converter at around 40 mph. It has done it since I had it and with every tune I have loaded in the truck. I only complain about it when I just loaded a tune and its adapting to the changes.

2007 Ram 5.7 9r11 87 tune with the upshifts tweaked and it still does it.

Unfortunately 4th & 5th don't have options for shiftpoints, and i'm sure as hell not gonna make the truck stay in second at 40 mph

I'm pretty sure it would have adapted after a year of trying tunes in the truck. I ran tunes for months, put thousands of miles on them.

My shift point's keep it in 3rd till 45mph,then it shift's into o/d.If it's a bogg your feeling this will take care of it.Adjust your shift point's till you get it like you want.

I have no problem in 3rd, it runs fine, just when i let off it will shift into OD and rpm drops around 1150-1250 and then if i slow below 40 around 37-38 mph the motor / trans strains & it will slightly shutter until i slightly kick the throttle or deactivate OD. No matter what i do, i can't keep OD from kicking in after letting off the gas 38mph & up.

Mine drop's back to 3rd at anything below 45mph.Mine's a 05 so i not sure of the shift schulde on the 06's.If you have downshift adjustability that what you want to adjust. If not i would drive in town with o/d off.Lot's of guy's do this and seem to like it.

sorry, I should have been a little but clearer on the adapting part. I was stating that I tend to notice it more when i just loaded a tune. It doesn't bother me all that much but if I don't like it I just push the good ole tow/haul button.

Mike/Frank,

Hey guys ... we spoke on for phone for an hour or so last week about my 2010 Jeep JK Sahara 6spd using this latest tune. It kept crashing as I added the third change in parameter. Well ... I dealt with it and tried to suck up the fact that I couldn't modify the TPMS (tire pressure) down to ZERO and have the Jeep accept it without doing the beeps and throwing up the idiot light all the time. Well, it's back on now. I tried doing a "quick adjust" and still nothing! I got your email about just leaving it unadjusted - but I want the whole thing to work. I need some help here - please! Thank you!

It also seems that the speedometer is off. I put in the correct tire size (metric 315/75R16), it seemed to accept it (but yet each time I go back to check it - it's not entered (normal?). I am going approximately 45-50MPH, and the speedo says I am doing 65mph!!

The tune itself seems great - so awesome work on that!! It's these quick adjust important add-ons that I'd love to use, but can't! Are any new CROMs in the works? Thanks again for the continued great customer service!

Just wondering if I load this revision to my Jeep if the tire pressure threshold will enable me to eliminate my "spare pressure low" warning by setting it to "0"? BTW, I don't have a spare anymore...

Lock diffs at any time (4 low/high) (Rubicon only)
High idle
On the fly idle adjustment

There are also new tunes for all HEMI Rams to improve performance and shift feel, as well as smoother MDS transitions.

All calibrations, including manual trans, will now have the throttle booster option as well.

Tire pressure threshold adjustment can now be lowered to all the way to 0 psi as well.

let us know how you like it!!

P0441 and locker opt not working

Post by njrobsram »

Mike here is the last tune written. The code is P0441 Incorrect Purge Flow. Only get this code when using any of the tunes. Have not got it with the stock program. Also the locker feature still doesn't work. And if I go in the locker menu when I go to write the tune if say Write Failed and resets everything back to stock. The only change made was 15% increase in throttle boost. Thanks for the help.

That was my plan too ... didn't work so well. It's a great idea though and one I hope they will figure out - because that was one of the selling features I was looking forward to!! Wait patiently..... they'll get it!

NJROBSRAM .... that was the message I kept getting too. The only parameters changed (on my Jeep JK) was the throttle boost(11%), tire size, and setting the tire pressure to ZERO ... write failed then made me reinstall stock tune.

MIKEL ---- any progress on this latest tune issues?

Same write failed here with 9t12b. It will install with no mods but when I try to modify I get write failed and install original backup. so now I am back to stock.

'07's have shift tables for 3-4 & 4-5 in CMR, I can probably fix that for you. can also raise converter lock speed/rpm with CMR.

there could be shift point adjustments for 4th & 5th on '05's & '06's if Diablo would add the needed shift folders to the TCM templates.

I would love to be able to adjust 4th & 5th on my '05 Hemi Ram.

even if the adjustments aren't end user adjustable in the Predator, at least CMR tuners including me would be able adjust 4th & 5th.

CMR has better control of the shifts than the Predator, IMO.
