5th gear backup

curious to know, when i go to original backup why there is no 5th gear?

Once you restore the original backup, the car should be back to stock completely.

Did you have a 5th gear in your manual shift display BEFORE you got your Tuner? Probably not is my guess, as the Predator does not change anything on the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and that's where the display of 5th gear comes from.

So the predator gave me 5th gear which i never had before.

I think I only saw 5th with the SC tune, not in stock with my 06 R/T.

I've noticed while in paddle shift, the gear number stays the same as I come to a stop, but the tranny appears to be shifting, both down and back up to the gear I paddled to?

I only have about 40 miles since installing with the 16a version.
