01 - 03 Corvette Z06

Post by arrestmered »

I see 2004 Corvettes listed under the Trinity. I'm aware that GM changed the ECM and the throttle bodies/fuel rails for the 04. Are you going to have a model that supports the 01-03 Z06's with the LS6?

won't be for a while man... they're still fixing stuff for the very few dodge/chryslers they have supported...

will be a while before our GM's are supported...

but, they will be...

Where did you see anything about a Vette in Trinity?

Currently there is no GM gas support, but it is coming.

I think the initial Trinity page had them listed.
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!

"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.

no mike... it's not up now.. but when max first put up the trinity page, it had a list of ALL vehicles that would be supported - remember? - all the ones that are supported by predators now...

but then you guys changed it so that it only shows the vehicles that are actually currently supported by the trinity at this point...

Is this Still The case...

I saw a seller stating that one is available 99-04 Corvette and 01-04 Z06 Corvette...

I am in the Market for one...Not sure which Programmer to get...I mean there is the Diablo Predator...Predator 2 then this here Trinity...Which IS Better AND Why...

I have a 1998 C5 Corvette Coupe...Which I recently Installed a 2002 PCM...Which Was to have Been Programed for the Mods which I also recently Finished...Now I want the Car to Run The way IT Should...Not the way it is...It is actually slower than the Stock PCM W/Hypertech in 1/4 Mile...

Motor is a 2002-2003 LS6 With...Vararam...80mm BBK Throttle body with a Modified 1" helix to adapt it to the Intake...Yella Tera Roller Rockers...Comp Cams Pushers...Truck Coils...Long Tube Headers No Cats Straight Through Mufflers...25% Under-drive Accessories and 10% AC Harmonic Balancer...Think that it on the Engine...

The Rear is a Z06 3:42 Transaxle...

Transmission is a Automatic...

The Trans has a Shift kit with all the accumulators upgraded...Fairbanks 1-2 Super-Servo...Sonnax 3-4 Super-Servo With the Check valve to calibrate them...as well as Any other Valve that Could be Upgraded and the Torlon Check Balls...

The Trans does Not shift right...In third before I hit 30 MPH...Plus does Not Down shift right either...It Seems Fine At WOT...

I run C6 Wheels that are 26.5"s Tall...Plus...I have a set of Slicks that Are 25.5"s Tall...

I am getting Tired of dealing with the PCM Guy...C5 Corvette PCM's Ain't the easiest to swap out...I want to just buy a Tuner and get it right...

I am Wanting to purchase a Programmer In the Next Couple Days...To Have it before Friday Night Drags...As Our season Is ending in a Couple of Weeks and I want to get the Car Dialed in...

So...Please Let Me Know which Programmer would best suite My Needs AND WHY...

I am A Long Way from any Dyno tuner...Plus With the Diablo I could store One From the Dyno Tuner When I get the Chance to take the Car to them...I located a Good Tuner that Supports Diablo...Seems How They all Seem to Hold 5 Tunes...Kinda Hard to Justify Spending $100-$200 More for One of these Predator 2 or Trinity...Whith out some Facts to Why They Are Better...

Thanks...Robert.

The Trinity is working well on my 2004 LeMans Commemorative Edition Corvette. It's an important distinction 'cause the CE has some performance differences "in-between" the base models & the ZO6. i.e., 3.15:1 differential vs 2.73 on the base & 3.42 on the ZO6. The choice to pick one is in the tune parameters. Why you would want/need one tuner model vs another is up to you for what features you want/need. Rather than my writing them all out, just do a quick glance at them from the home page of this site, the differences are quite obvious. I chose the Trinity because it does everything I want and of course, it works on my car. :) The Trinity is the only stand-alone tuner from ANY manufacturer that works on my '04, AFAIK... I went from nice, mild shifts from 1st to 2nd (A4) to barking the tires @ WOT. I like it a lot, so far. Just don't leave it connected to your car for a couple days without driving it, it'll run the battery down; I learned the hard way.

Best regards,

Howdy...

A buddy of mine had a Le Mans C E Car...Nice Car...I especially Liked the Interior Colors...I changed Most of My interior with The Shale Colors...The 3:15 Rear Ratio Was an Option for All C5's...My other buddy has the 3:15 option in his 99...Seems at the Beginning there were Very Few Car with that Option(20%)...Towards the Middle years of Production there were Approximately 75% with that Option...I had the 2:73's...I was Getting 33.9 MPGs Until I changed the Rear To the Z06 3:42's...Then it dropped to 26MPGs...After All the Mods to the engine it was about 24-26...I had Just Installed the Under-drive Harmonic Balancer and-Now It is Up again to 28.6 MPGs...HWY...

Any How...I thought that this was a Diablo web site and looking to get more detailed Info from one of there Guru's on the differences on the Programmers as To WHAT REALLY SETS them Apart...I am Under the Impression that One Can hook-up a Lap Top to the predators for the live programming feature that you had Mentioned...Hoever that Is a Nice Option to Have...To have Just the Little Programmer with...

I have No Problem "Barking" my tiires...In fact at WOT IF I do Not have My Slicks Warmed-up the Tires Break Loose and the Car Gets Squrily and I Have To Let off the Throttle or I will Be ALL Over the Place...I do Not Even Attempt this With Street Tires...Nor Do I Do WOT On the Streets...It is Just To Dangerous...[/list]

Is This Answer Directed Towards Me???

If so...I am Guessing then that you read I have No Cats...No Rear O2's...Nor Do I have any Emmisions on the Car At ALL...

Been Reading Threads ALL Day...Like Stated earlier I am Wanting to Purchase a Programmer...SOON...I found One On Sale With Free Overnight Shipping From an authorized Dealer...Sale ends in 12 HRS...And I decided to get the Trinity...Just Curious on the afore Mention Question...

Thanks...Robert.
