2008 Chevrolet Silverado Calibration Not Supported

Post by 08silvyFTW »

Hi, I just got a new U7194 predator. When I plug it into my truck, the tuner says that the calibration for my 08 Silverado is not accepted. I updated the device to the newest revision and the same thing happens. I was told to by a service representative to email my stock tune to Diablosport. I did that, but I also wanted to post on the forum just to make sure someone sees my problem. I am really disappointed that my new $300 toy is acting as a paperweight as of now, and I would really like to get the issue resolved. Also, I heard that updating my ECM might do the trick, but 2 different dealerships told me it would cost $135 to do so, so that is kind of out of the question. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will attach my stock calibration as well.

Thanks,
Blake.

Tune loaded up no problem. I just have one question. The only tunes I saw on the list were the 87 octane tune and the diablo tune. I live and California, and we only get to use 91 octane :( and I was wondering if there should be another tune for 91 octane or will the diablo tune work ok? I was under the impression that the diablo required 93 octane. I loaded up the diablo tune anyways (performance gain is noticeable and shifting is light and day, no more clunking into first gear), and there hasn't been any knocking as of yet.
