Emissions issues

Emissions Issues

I have a 2009 Challenger rt. I installed a Magnacharger earlier this year. when I go to get the car inspected it always shows that the O2's and Catalyst are not ready I have tried several tunes from both Arrington and Magnacharger. I have drove several hundred miles and still will never go ready. My assumption is that the rear O2 sensors are turned off but the vendors say that they do not have the option to turnoff the rear O2's. I have been using my predator for downloading the tunes. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

post up a copy of the last tune written from the Predator.

Does it have stock cats?

All stock except the supercharger???!!!?! That ain't right! You're choking the motor. Air is being forced in, but can't get out. I'd bet at least half the "boost" you're making isn't real boost and its actually being used to try to push the exhaust out of the motor. Get headers and high flow cats on that thing ASAP!

One step at a time. I have to get past this hurdle first. The next step is a forged motor, Tranny upgrade and alot more boost.

well, the O2s are not turned off here.

Not sure what it could be. No codes?

Could he possibly have the same issue that I had with the Jeep? Even with everything on they would take forever to get Ready and when they did they popped the codes even though the readings were within spec. Turned out to be a bad PCM.

My next option is like a 200 mile trip. Some other people have had similar issues where it just took a long time.

i would remove the predator, update your calibration, then put the tune back in.
i had similar problems, which i *think* were related to a corrupt calibration file, if thats possible.
although i switched tuners altogether in the process, so i'm not 100% sure how it was solved.

If I updated the calibration to a newer one I would have to go get a new tune.
