F350 back from the dealer, tune wont work!!! help

Ok, well a couple months ago, i brought my 2003 Ford F350 turbo diesel to the dealer and i guess when they were done doing the work on it they reflashed the ECU because now when i try to put a new tune on it, it just wont let me.

but some people told me that i needed some numbers on the last receipt from the dealer that they gave me ? if yes witch number are they and can i update it my self to get it to work or i have to go to the dealer. I have the serial cable and everything, so do i just throw the latest update on it ?

I need to know what revision is on the tool and what the white sticker on the back of the tool says.

ok the white sticker is Ford 6.0 and i guess the revision of the tool is

This is an old tool that is no longer supported due to the constant updates from ford that have filled this tool memory.
The tool you have, U7160 was superceded by the U7165 about 3.5 years ago.
We now offer a hardware upgrade that allow us to rebuild your U7160 into a U7165 for $99 + shipping.
To do this, fill out an RMA request form under the support tab here.

I have the outdated U7160 tool, on the RMA request page it says if you have your receipt you only have to pay shipping and handling. Does this apply to this upgrade or am reading the page wrong. Thanks.
