2010 Ford F150 Tune Settings

Post by Radar1957 »

2010 Ford F150 4X4, Trinity T-1000 - 5.4L 3V

Hi, I just bought the T-1000 today and have a couple of questions:

1) I would like to adjust the Tune settings for optimal fuel economy and power, any suggestions? e.g. MAF setting, timing etc.

2) It won't allow me to enter any transmission changes, how do you turn this option on so I can change the rpm at shift change, and what would be the optimal setting for fuel economy and power?

Thanks in advance for your help.

1. No need to make any adjustments out of the box, start with the canned tunes.

2. There is no trans support at the moment, that will come as part of a free update in the future.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply, this is the first time I have ever bought this kind of device (I am not a mechanic), when you say "canned tunes", how would I go about finding those and selecting the right one? Thanks for your help.

I dont want to hi-jack his post but :
I have something like maximum performance and 91 performance and modify tune. Will it get back to normal when I'll apply the update for the tranny?

Hey guys,

I sold a Trinity to a costumer of mine yesterday.
i install everything by my self and it seem's having no option except 91octane and tune no gauge availble except air fuel ratio the 1/4 tree 0-60mph dosent work,
Well nothing is working except a/f gauge and 91octane is it normal ?
because it pretty hard to tell my customer that 650$cdn worth it.

Hi guys,
I would also add that I tried to get the 87 performance to work and its now actually shutting down when cold (forgive my english). It kind of rattle (?) ... need to put some octane to get it around 91 in ordre to having to work properly.

Help?

Thats it! When cold though. When its hot its more like rattling... as if there wasn't enough fuel...
