fried plug

Post by bulletpryor86 »

Just got my trinity back from repairs, plugged it in and it immediatly started smoking at the connection to the trinity. They sent a brand new plug with it too. (Why didn't they test it out before sending it?) Not willing to go through another long process of getting a rma request, and waiting 3 weeks to get it back, not to mention paying for shipping again. I took apart the plastic around the connector and found that the little metal hook that holds the cable to the trinity had cut into a hot wire and shorted itself out. I want this resolved, I paid too much for the trinity. Don't ask me to fill out a rma request either. If I do and send it in I want my money back and not the trinity.

Ouch that sucks man, sorry to hear that, your best bet is to contact your reseller as i have a feeling they might just try to replace the unit for you or maybe call our tech guys and see what they can do, but i know they will most likely ask you to contact reseller for a quicker resolution.
