No log playback supported and other issues

Post by starman »

I have updated the inTune and I still got the message: "inTune Log playback is not yet supported" I know I can view the log on my windows laptop, but I want to view the log more quickly on the inTune.

Another issue I got it can't log my analog input I use it for my wideband, I can log the externals inputs only if I connect the inTune to my laptop, but again I want to be able to do this without my laptop.

Finaly, I always have to try several times to connect the inTune on my laptop because Dataviewer always connect to inTune but it displays "No Vehicle Connected" that why is more important to be able to log externals inputs directly on inTune and to enable the log playback.

Yes, DV 3.3.0.8

What about dataloging the external analog inputs?

I'm still have a Predator (recently sold my trinity) and this is not an issue (no vehicle connected) with it or before when I still got the Trinity.

Another question, why the inTune is so slow capturing frames? as slow as the predator!!, Trinity was a lot more fast with the same amount of parmeters!!

If you log to the tool, the inTune logs faster than a Pred or even DV directly. The frame rate simply cant update as fast as the PIDs, but if you open the log in DV, you will see tons of samples....

currently you have to log to DV directly to get the analog inputs to record.

Here is attached an example of a datalog directly on the inTune, when I load it on DV I can only see less than 1.5 frames per second, is this normal?

What version is your inTune? I know the logging was really fast with a beta version I have.
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!

"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.

load it into dataviewer, then go to the top menu - File - Export to CSV... save it as a .csv file to your pc... then open up that csv file in Excel...

MUCH easier to view all the data that way anyway...

Yes, the CSV have more data, but is the same on several rows!!!

Here is attached the CSV from the same datalog and an example from my old trinity (I have to sold last year)

You can see the inTune is slower than the trinity by a good amount like 10 to 1 and the Trinity datalog have more parameters loged.

My question:

Is this normal? or with a new firmware this is going to be faster? Do I need to sold the inTune and buy me again a Trinity? I don't need the fancy display, I need a fast log!!!

yeah, that log is normal man, nothing wrong with it... the data is fine...

yeah the trinity has a faster sampling rate, but there's nothing wrong with the data...

although, there are issues with the trinity log, heh... the MIL CONTROL STATUS column shouldn't have all text in there like that...

I realized whats going on here.

1r01c was still logging slow...we had fixed it in a test version, that I gave gizmodo and a few others, but i didn't realize that fix hadnt been released ;)

Update your tool today, to 1r01d, and you'll notice it logs faster than you could possibly need :)

OMG! Now we are in bussines, I have attached a datalog with the new firmware, the difference is huge with the new 1r01d firmware the frames captured are like in trinity!! THANKS!!!! THIS IS WHAT I WANT!! Image

Now I will hold my breath until the inTune can datalog the externals analog inputs by it self!!
dpb119 wrote:How do I flash the update?
You only need to connect the inTune to your PC open the inTune.exe and it will automatically update the tool ;)
