Ram default idle speed?

Post by Daytona1445 »

I know it can be adjusted up but does anyone know what the default idle speed is when you just install the 91 tune?

The reason I ask is that my idle has dropped down to 500-525ish in drive several times.

The other night my battery gauge dropped down to about 1/4 when its normally a little above half.

I know that part of it was my fan kicking on but the truck never idled this low stock or with a superchips.

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona and with a 180 thermostat it is 625. With the stock one it is 550 give or take. Replace your battery and or alternator. BATTERY FIRST.

I can raise your idle in a custom tune.
