2007 GMC Sierra--ABS/Brake lights still on

07 Sierra 5.3liter, latest Intune update as of tonight and I'm still getting the ABS/Brake dummy lights coming on when I drive. I've tried adjusting the speed limiter as referenced in other posts and from what I read I thought this update was going to fix these lights. Any other ideas? Do I need to reset to stock and then load the Diablo Tune again? Thanks!!

I'm a new intune user and new to the forums. I received and updated my intune on 04/13/12 and i loaded the 87 octane tune with no other adjustments to a completely stock 07 silverado 5.3 2wd rg cab. I'm assuming that the (i)brake ABS lights are a glitch but is there any danger of damage to my truck? is there a way to fix this? thanks

It sounds like something in the software is disabling the traction control. The only issue with having the ABS light on is you will have no antilock on the brakes or traction control. So the vehicle is still safe to drive until the fix for the programing is figured out.

drag the attached tune database to the intune drive, then let it reboot and reload the tune to the truck, should clear up the lights.

mikel, can u email that? i can't download it every time i try it brings up another window full of random characters and black boxes with numbers

do a right-click on the download link, then select Save Target As... or Save Link As... and you'll be able to save it to your computer...

ok, mike, lew ....i downloaded this last night dropped it in the tuner, it reset, i went to the truck, reset to factory, then re installed the 87octane tune with dod off and speed limiter off...after about 5 min of driving i got the same (!) Brake and ABS lights on. any other suggestions?

please post your info.xml file from the intune drive, and a copy of the backup and LTW from the tune folder.
