Howdy...
Well...Lets see ...Where to start...

I contacted Lew About a Tune...He Thought it Best to Start Here with My Question...I have a 1998 C5 Corvette with a 2002 PCM...It was a Mail Order PCM With a Modified Stock Tune...In The Instructions for the Predator...It States NOT To Write Over a Modified Stock Tune "Serious Engine Damage could Occur"...
How Would I go about this...Do I send a Copy of the Modified Stock Tune to Lew...To Get a Good Base-Tune to Start with...THEN do the Data Logging to Fine Tune-It...

As long as the Predaotr will save the current tune as the 'stock tune' you can load custom tunes based on that file all day.

SO...Am I understanding this Correctly...With the Tune Stored in the Predator...I Will Be Able to Modify the Tune and With It being My Old Tune Removed from The car...The Codes that have Been Deleted...WILL STILL Be Deleted???

yeah, replied to your email...

and yes, if you select Factory HP Tune, it will save a copy of the current tune that's in the pcm, and you can make adjustements and reinstall a tune... and yes, the "original backup" file that it saves will be a copy of the tune that's in the pcm now, so yeah, all your codes and whatnot will still be disabled... unless the person that tuned the car before has locked their tune, in which case you won't be able to do anything with it...

Howdy...Yea...The outfit where I Purchased the PCM Told Me They Used the Same Programs as GM and did Not Lock the PCM's...
