Results of a predator on a '03 ram 2500 w/hemi

Post by greasertom »

Hi there, im gonna pull the trigger on a predator soon and i was just hoping to hear what some people's results were with a ram/hemi. I have a 2003 ram 2500 laramie. with a 4'' lift, 35'' tires, cold air intake and muffler(stock exhaust for now)
I was hoping to find out the average mpg gain mostly. ive read a lot of 2-4 mpg?
And just other basic info please. Im having a hard time finding reviews of a predator in a ram.

Also do i understand correct that you could change the tuning often? As in economy durring the week, performance on the weekend etc?
Thanks!

if you had a diesel you might see 2-4 mpg. with your truck being a 2500 and having a hemi i doubt you will see little or any mpg improvement. I've been running a predator on my truck for a couple of years and didn't see a good boost in mpgs until I did longtube headers and a custom 91 octane tune.
