Selection not support, may need CAID and reflash?

Got my powerstroke back from the dealer after putting back the original tune and now I am getting am error message saying my selection is not supported and may need the CA ID and reflash, contact tech support. Does this have to be returned now. U7165

Same problem need help i am the owner of my programmer since new and now i am being told i need a new one.

This sounds like you simply need to update the .crom file on the tool.

Who told you that?
If you have a U7160, that would be the only case for needing a new one.
