99 Powerstroke troubles

Hi. I have just bought a programmer for my 99 Ford Powerstoke. when first trying to install it to the truck it said not licenced for this vehicle. it has the new 8r05 update in it. I was told to try to install the 7r19 file in it. so i tried to and now the programmer says this pstroke73 tool requires a CROM file before use. What should I do ?

If you were getting a license error, the Predator is most likely locked to another truck. Did you buy the Predator used?

Also, to get the Predator working again, reinstall 8r05. The 7r19 will not work on that tool.
