married predator

Post by bluez06 »

hello, new member here i just picked up a predator from a friend u7198 which seems to still be married to the vette he sold. he didn't restore original backup into vehicle. so basically i'm assuming this thing is useless to me and the person who bought his car is kinda screwed if he ever has any problems?
is there any way to get this thing working or do i have to track down the origanal car?

what revision is that 7198 predator on? power it up, and once it gets to the main menu, the revision number is shown at the top of the screen.. what is that number?? should be a 1.xx, 2.xx or 9rxx number..

if it's an old tool on a 1.xx or 2.xx revision, you'll have to send it in to diablosport for the upgrade program, which will be $149 ($99 to upgrade it + $50 to unlock it)....

if it's a newer version tool on a 9rxx revision, it can be unlocked/reset over the phone for $129...

either way, fill out the RMA Request form as was mentioned above...
